How to test a brushless motor

HOW TO CHECK SPEED OF BRUSHLESS MOTOR

MATERIALS REQUIRED 
. brushless motor 
. ESC (according to the voltage) 
. Battery 12v
. Speed controller
. Propeller 
There are three wire connect these wires to esc blue wire
Connect these wires to speed controller 
Next check the speed after connecting battery voltage 12v
